SetUp
- Place Laser Strips in your desired location
- Place Main Control Box in your desired location
- Route cables attached to Laser Strips to Main Control Box
- Plug Cables into control box in the order you would like them to be activated (EX: plug the first Laser Strip you would like to be activated into the “1” slot, the second one to be activated into the “2” slot, etc.)
- Strip the wires that belong to the “A” port. These are your activation wires.
- Connect wires to a button, key switch, or any other method of your choosing for a player to activate said puzzle
- Plug the wires into the “A” port
- Once all cables are routed, plug in the control box VIA the Micro USB Cable
Calibrating the sensors
- Flip the Calibration switch on the control box
- The Laser Strips should turn yellow (or green), indicating they are in calibration mode
- The LED indicator will also begin to blink, indicating the control box is in calibration mode
Laser Strip Yellow = The Strip is not activated (Not enough Light)
Laser Strip Green = The strip is activated (Enough Light)
During Calibration mode, the laser strip should only be green if hit directly with the Laser Gun.
Operation
- When plugged in, the Laser Strips should display 8 red dots each, indicating they are in “standby” mode.
- Once activated VIA the Activation Wires, all but one Laser Strip will turn off their LEDs. The remaining Laser Strip will begin cycling its LEDs, indicating that it is the current target
- Once the respective target is hit, it will light up green
- Once all the targets are hit, they will flash 5 times before triggering a relay for your prop or puzzle
- During the “shooting gallery”, each target has a time-out of 6 seconds that resets after each successful hit
- If a player fails to hit a target during the 6 second time-out, the puzzle will restart, turning all Laser Strips red and requiring a player to re-activate the Puzzle Using the initial activation method (button, key switch, etc.)
PRO TIP: To calibrate, turn the respective trimmer down until the Laser Strip turns green, then turn the trimmer back until it is just past the point that the Laser Strip turns Yellow.
